1940 Redskins Ticket Stub

From a game on Nov. 17, 1940 vs the Chicago Bears at Griffith Stadium. The Redskins won 7-3 that day. The funny thing was it only cost $2.20 for a ticket on the lower level. Later on that season in the title game we lost 73-0 to the same Bears. It was a sad day in Redskins history.

Yes it would be nice. Im also kinda proud about this stub. I checked ebay and the earliest Redskin Stubs I could fin is from 1945. Id never sell mine but I am happy to know that I got a rare one.

Nah it was George Halas and his new T formation on offense that killed us that day. Good guess though. :thumb:
