Re: Sally Jenkins' Best article yet
Come on, she compared Snyder to a little boy. While I don't agree with how Snyder is running the Skins like a circus, I do assume he's at least TRYING to do what he thinks is right for the team (and Im neutral on whether what he's doing is wrong or right).
Sally Jenkins really needs to be put in a burlap bag and beaten for a while. I can't respect anyone's opinion who gets their jollies (and their paycheck) by crapping on the local team, IN the mother-loving local paper. Whatevs.

I read that article and my only surprise is that she didn't release this article sooner than what she did. She ranks up there with Pastabelly.

Re: Sally Jenkins' Best article yet
I agree that was a good article by Jenkins. One of her best in a long time.
Just curious. Did Pasquarelli ever apologize to the Taylor family for jumping the gun when it came out that Sean was shot? Pasquarelli had no problem saying it was because of Sean's past. Any respect I may have had for him as a journalist went out the window that day. |

Re: Sally Jenkins' Best article yet
It's a piece of crap article. Maybe she should start threads here, she'd fit right in.
All she says basically is "I don't know what happened but I'm going to take a lot of shot at Snyder because I have nothing better to do"

Re: Sally Jenkins' Best article yet
Well, I see this statement differently. Smootsmack said "Maybe she should start threads here, she'd fit right in." Maybe I am completely misunderstanding it.

When you combine all the critical analysis with the gloom and doom from some posters, maybe Sally would find refuge here. As I said before "charity starts at home".

Re: Sally Jenkins' Best article yet
Best article yet? A 7th grader could have written this. I mean video game and Voltron references? If you looked up "hack" in the dictionary her picture should be there. This is supposed to be professional journalism? A 700 word attack on the owner with no thought or insight involved? I'm not a big Snyder fan at all, but this is a joke.
SmootSmack is right. We should invite her here and let her add to the "drivel." I'm still in amazement that the article I just read was actually printed in The Washington Post.

Do some reporting and find out what is really going on - and then bash whoever based on that information. Don't just wildly speculate. And as for the folly of going after unproven assistants to be the headcoach (which is more speculation btw)? Uh, do you need me to explain why that's idiotic and uninformed based on recent NFL trends? |
