Re: PFT.com: Inside the NFL Last Season
Good riddance Chris Carter. IMO he ruined the show all by himself. It used to be a good show but recently has turned into the Lets See What CC says next show.
While Dan Marino is ok, I just can't take large doses of him. Costas and Collinsworth are good imo. |

That show was horrible. Cris carter hated the 'Skins, and some weeks they didn't even show the 'Skins highlights. Go make more Flight of the Conchords episodes and leave football to ESPN.

a little off topic here but seems to me that ESPN is full of Skins haters too. Ever notice how the Cowboys are always called "america's team" by the anouncers and EVERY year they are picked as contenders for the super bowl. IDK, maybe its in my imagination

The footage is still incredible, in spite of the dingbat hosts.

Re: PFT.com: Inside the NFL Last Season
Exactly. Inside the NFL's highlights were usually pretty awesome and some of their stories of interest were....well, interesting. Besides, I don't care too much if the talking heads/coverage is sub-par, it's still a show about the NFL.

Re: PFT.com: Inside the NFL Last Season
Len Dawson and Nick Buonicotti (sp? I should look it up but...) were awesome. Jerry Glanville was at least fun. Today's cast is worse than the CBS pregame show (Mr. Ed's lookalike Shannon Mumblesalot could ruin a bachelor party with Penthouse Pets). They don't offer any insight and their analysis is sophomoric. The only time I watch an episode anymore is when someone on here posts about an especially intelligent comment by CC.
On a similar note, how can Chris Carter and Greg Gumbel have broadcasting careers, yet no network is begging for me?

One of the funniest things to listen to is Shannon Sharpe trying to pronounce the words "Ben Roethlisberger." It's hilarious. |

Re: PFT.com: Inside the NFL Last Season
It is a shame used to be a good show, been going downhill for at least the last 5 years. I found it unwatchable this past year.

Goodbye Droopy Dog, don't let the door hit you on the way out and stop crying about not getting elected into the HOF. Karma's a bitch!!
