Really BAD knock off
My local sports shop is bringing Sam Huff to do an autograph event in June. I figured I would get a jump and see what I could find on Ebay. Do you think this jersey could be any worse:

Re: Really BAD knock off
The funny part is that if he just took one picture it would look alright. The detail shots are the funny part, which probably means he doesn't even know its a fake
.Is the Sam Huff signing at the Card Cellar? I actually got my dad a Huff M&N (real deal) for Christmas a few years ago, he never wears it, maybe I can get him to go over there and get it signed, that would be pretty cool.

Yes, the signing is at the Card Cellar. They have it on their website and a handwritten note at the shop.

It's an "Authentica!"

Re: Really BAD knock off
Who would put the name along the bottom of the jersey? What a waste.

Re: Really BAD knock off
Whether or not the jersey for sale is authentic or not is irrelevant. People tend to collect items that spark their interests, having a Sam Huff jersey because it is Redskins related item would be enough for most collectors’s to purchase it at a low price. What tends to happen though, is because this said item has some personal meaning to the collector that when the owner tries to sell it, they over price it. Collectables are only worth what people will pay for them, not what a book says or some so called professional says its worth. So with that being said, that Sam Huff jersey may not be what you or I would want but it still has a value to someone out there.

Re: Really BAD knock off
I agreee, if you are ok with a knockoff and are aware that it is a knockoff, fine.
The name on the back is simply ridiculous. EVEN IF, you wanted to ruin the jersey with the NOB, why in the hell would you a) put first name on it or b) put it underneath the number. Since at some point the jersey didn’t have anything on it, some moron had to make a conscious decision to do this. |

P.S. That's what authentic stitching should look like, or something like that. So many of those eBay fakes really botch the stitching. ![]()
