aight.. given the status of Rock Cartwright and his free agent status, some of us have questioned whether he would be worth the money to return.

So this is a video (given his limited opportunites) that I decided to put together today to show what he could be to us:

it took u all but 6 minutes to find all his highlights? Really everybody raves about him...i personally dont see it he's good and a great team player but not worth all the hype

i stand corrected his highlights look awesome but he suffers from micheal turneritis..a feature back who doesnt get play time because he's 2nd string to a future hall of famer(l.t.)

I must admit. I really like the Rock and would be okay keeping him if we could move Betts (I hate his fumbling issues), but I don't see it happening in the grand scheme of things. Every time I see a video from behind like this shows in the Dallas kickoff return it reminds me just how fast the NFL game really is.

rock has the same fumbling issues betts does. and he can't catch as well, so he's not really an upgrade in any sense there.

Personally, I love the guy for the simple reason that he and Thrash make up nearly 100% of our special teams...both offensively and defensively. Each time I hear about either one being cut or traded, it makes me cringe. They both give everything they've got on every play. These are the character guys, the "effort" guys, that we need to keep.

I like Rock, and he's a pretty good return guy. But, how many times did he create the play in that Clip? Looked like real good blocking to me. I think we should sign him back, and throw a couple extra bucks his way. Nothing crazy, make is a encentive of some sort. 3 KR for touchdowns = X amouint.

I like both Betts and Cartwright. Neither one of them ever fumbled as much as Stephen Davis, who wasn't really considered a fumbler. But we do need a speedier back returning kickoffs, so we might have to part with the Rock.

Man he's had a bunch of good plays for us. Your forget the non TD ones but he is a player. Plus none of his teams tackles are on there and he seems to have 3 or 4 a game.

Rock istn going to break many to go the distance, he doenst have that top gear. but hes dont well with his reads and getting consistent yards!
