Falcons Sign RB Turner
The Associated Press: Falcons, Turner Agree to Deal
Nice pick up for the Falcons. Probably means the end of the road for Dunn in Atlanta

Re: Falcons Sign RB Turner
I'm very curious to see how much ATL paid for him.
Dunn is one of the nicest guys in the league. Tons of respect for him. He had a great career.

Re: Falcons Sign RB Turner
I think it was somewhere around $35-40 million for 6 years. $12-15 million signing bonus

ESPN reports 6yrs. 34M, $ 15M guaranteed. Good for Turner. He's a great talent.

Re: Falcons Sign RB Turner
Definitely a good deal for Turner and the Falcons. Looks like the Falcons don't have Dunn in their plans anymore. I think Turner and Norwood will probably be a pretty good combo next year.

Re: Falcons Sign RB Turner
The contracts being handed out this year are quite simply astounding. I wonder what Andre Carter and ARE would command on today's market. My guess is we got them at about 2/3 the price they would get on today's market.

Re: Falcons Sign RB Turner
Totally! Carter would be like 100 Million with his 10.5 sacks for us last year. Justin Smith didn't do shit and look what he got. This is just silly.

ARE, well, unsure of why you lumped them in together. He would not get close to the contract we gave him from what he's done over the past two years.
