Re: CAA Tournament This Weekend....Who Wins?
GMU all the way! I don't believe VCU is as good as their record shows. It seems that GMU shows up when it wanted to this season. I'm hoping all those late season alternating wins and losses aren't something to worry about.

VCU all the way...
I'm a Richmonder and a VCU alum. The CAA tournament has really grown over the years and now holds some pretty good teams over the last few years especially. Last years title game was one of the most exciting games i've seen in person w/ VCU pulling it out in the final seconds. If anyone is in the area i'd recommend checking it out. |

I'll pull for the underdog. Go Georgia State.

Re: CAA Tournament This Weekend....Who Wins?
I don't do negative ratings, don;t really see the use of them. Hey the CAA isn't big time like the ACC but its still college basketball and its still fun to watch especially when your school is the #1 seed. Go Rams. Ill be in the coliseum Sat, Sun, and Mon as long as the Rams win!

Yep, what can I say...VCU missed tons and tons of opportunities today. Ill be rooting for the Tribe. Not sure they have a shot but Im not rooting for Mason.

Re: CAA Tournament This Weekend....Who Wins?
Ahh, I remember the good old days when my alma mater, the Richmond Spiders, were part of the CAA. Some glorious upsets of highly ranked teams in the tourney of 64 occurred during those years.
But alas those days are gone. As far as this tourney goes, I'll just root against the two biggest Richmond rivals from those days: William & Mary and ODU.

Re: CAA Tournament This Weekend....Who Wins?
Not really warpath, you guys are making the NCAA and I'm pulling for VCU. I was a big Maynard fan when he was doing awesome. Granted I want GMU to win, of course, but I dont hate anyone in the conference.

Re: CAA Tournament This Weekend....Who Wins?
No spite, and Daseal Im not sure VCU makes the cut for the NCAA. Over the past 2 years GMU has done nothing the CAA has before, make the final four. The following year VCU did what no CAA had done in beating Duke. I think it would be cool to see W&M get there and do some damage and show the world that the smaller conferences can do damage. Usually if the team I pull for is out I root for the underdog. If Mason wins Ill root for them in the NCAA. Its great for the CAA if they or anyone else do well.
