Renaldo Wynn a Giant
One of the guys that I'm most proud to say was a member of the Redskins, DE Renaldo Wynn, is now on his third team in as many years.
ProFootballTalk.com - WYNN LANDS WITH THE GIANTS He's like their 4th DE at best, but its hard to argue with the package you get in Wynn at a bargain basement price.

Re: Renaldo Wynn a Giant
Good luck to Wynn.
But I still hope the Giants sputter this year.

Re: Renaldo Wynn a Giant
He's no Erasmus James
In all seriousness, even though I hate repeating what everyone else says, I do wish him the best except against us and teams that we might need to beat the Giants at certain points in the year. The way I remember him is he was always solid but never great, so we always ended up looking for the next big thing. If I remember correctly his cap number did him in. As far as the Giants go, this is low risk high reward

Re: Renaldo Wynn a Giant
I was gonna say a sarcastic comment about him helping their pass rush here, but I'm not going to because he's a really cool guy and I wish him the best of luck, except against us.

Re: Renaldo Wynn a Giant
Renaldo was friendly to The Warpath, and was a good player while here.
Nearly every year, I was forced to defend (begrudgingly) his spot on the team. He was a starter here for four years, and led the line in tackles each of them. No flash, just performance.

Re: Renaldo Wynn a Giant
Good guy & solid run stopper. If Strahan comes back I wonder what his chances are of making the team?

Re: Renaldo Wynn a Giant
One nice thing about Renaldo is his versatility. I think they could move him to the inside a lot. I mean, if they can put Strahan, Umenyiora, and Tuck on the field together, I'm sure (assuming he deserves it) they can find a place for Wynn.

Re: Renaldo Wynn a Giant
Man, I cant imagine a worst place in the NFL for him to go. Has no chance at all, of making this team.

Re: Renaldo Wynn a Giant
The man is a complete waste of a roster spot.
Classy guy, perhaps. But he hasn't belonged in the NFL for about five years. |

Re: Renaldo Wynn a Giant
I wouldn't go that far. Somehow that waste of a roster spot managed 3.5 sacks last year. That's not bad for a backup guy in your rotation.
