I hate to start a new thread on the subject, but I've been trying to find a game cut jersey. I hate how long the sleeves are on the "authentics." So, can anyone know where I can buy a game cut jersey?

By game cut, I assume you mean with the elastic rim around each sleeve? I've been looking for the same thing. After a bit of searching, I think the best route would be buying a standard jersey (authentic or replica) and having it tailored. Can't really find much else.

Yeah, I hate the sleeves on the standard jersey. For some odd reason, I dislike sleeves that come down to my knuckles.

I've searched ebay, google, amazon, nflshop, and the Redskins store. The only place I found a game cut jersey was on nflshop auctions, but it cost nearly $400.

You might contact member Riggo44. He had a Santana Moss Authentic tailored with the elastic sleeves. I actually sold him the Moss jersey and it is legit (which is more than you can say for 99% of the stuff on eBay). It is a size 52.

I also think that the Redskins have a 'yard sale' out at Redskins Park every so often (I think the last one was this spring) where they sell old gamers and other stuff. I'd check at NextLevelTalk, though, as someone on there might have a Skins gamer that they are looking to move (if you sign up for an account you can access the Buy/Sell forum which is about the best place you'll find for getting good deals on jerseys). I tried to find a jersey like that myself forever. Finally a few years back I bought a practice jersey on e-bay with the cuffed spandex sleeves. I took it down to my tailor that I totally trust. Having a good tailor is the key! For about $20 she would transfer the sleeves for me. It worked out great and since then I have done a few more and couldn’t be happier with them. You can sometimes find the game worn jersey's on e-bay but there usually really pricy and usually not a player you’d want to wear.


Like I said just make sure the tailor you use knows what there doing. I took my Sam Huff throwback to a tailor by my girlfriends house that I didn’t know to have it hemmed so that it wouldn't hang down to my knees. Well this fat bitch cut it so short that I don't even wear it anymore. Needless to say I'm still a little bitter and will never trust another random tailor as long as I live.
