Off topic for a second, a) where the hell have you been and b) you need to reduce the font of your sig. It takes away from your posts.

Been working this half this summer and was overseas for a month. I was without football for 4 weeks and it was terrible.I should be getting more time to the check the warpath now though.

And yeah I just did, I also need a new sig. Probably will do that in the days to come.

i really like Joe Biden. but it goes against Obama's theme of its time for a change.

I think Biden has always been a good guy with respect to democratic issues and I believe Obama and Biden share core principles. I really like the pick though Biden is irreplaceable in the senate.

I would tend to agree. Obama, like many "non-Washingtonians" likes to clamor about being the outsider and bringing change. But the reality is you need someone who is a bit of an insider who can help bring the change about by navigating through all the politics of Washington. It's certainly a much better choice than Chet Edwards.

ONLY if the Obama/Biden ticket win in November would that be true.

For the Democratic caucus and the state of Delaware he's a powerhouse senator. A 30 Year senator who voted against the war is irreplaceable. You can toss in Ted Kennedy and Robert Byrd in that category too. These are folks that don't have to cover their own asses like most senators for political gains (i.e. Hillary).

Edit: I stand corrected, Biden voted for the war.

So if you have power and can take pork spending to the next level then its OK with you. I believe that all these guys need to go and not make a career out of waisting tax payers money and building power off my tax money. I'm not just talking about Dems here I'm talking all. Byrd is a great example of a man who spent way to much time in Washington waisting my money for his pork projects which made him powerful.

Robert Byrd really is irreplaceable. Where are you going to find an ex-klansman to run for The Senate these days?
