Re: The Giants ........

Weird week - all three of the NFC East leaders lost together. So long as the Eagles don't get hot, we should all still be fine for the playoffs.

The Giants already smoked the Rams in St Louis by about 30 points. I'm still not convinced that the Rams will amount to anything. We averaged over 6 yards per rush against them, outgained them 360-200, and got 22 first downs to their 8. Their beating us was a total fluke. Cleveland scares me a hell of a lot more than the Rams, because they have playmakers (Lewis, Winslow and Edwards) and a great O-line. The Browns were considered by many a team likely to compete for a playoff spot. Zorn better have our guys ready to jump on them from the start.

I was joking. We should have kicked there ass. At least the team is embarassed that we did not. It may be fortuitious when we look back at events, as we will be aware of the Brown's, and hopefully spank them

How could you not be aware of the Browns? They just whooped the defending SB Champs? Skins better come ready to play this week or trouble is a brewing!

I disagree. We played lousy, and the Rams won because of how lousy we played.

Agreed. Coming off that big upset, they are going to be hot. I hope our Skinz got a wake-up call last week and takes it to them. I hope the team that handed the Cowgals and the Iggles their arses shows up this Sunday, thirsty, mad and ready to represent our house.

I agree that we played lousy, sloppy football, but at least we were able to move the ball consistently before shooting ourselves in the foot via dropped pass, turnover, or penalty. The Rams offense was pretty much inept, and take away the Kendall play, this game isn't even close since we were going in for a score there. Turnovers are part of the deal, so we deserve the loss. My point that it was a fluke was that the team doing most of the physical domination ended up losing the game.

i stayed up and wathced the whole game. it was a good game until Eli threw that pick 6. Glad they lost. Kinda looks like Eli is back to his old self(throwing picks, fading back while throwing).

He was awful last night, but he is not the same QB as he was a year ago. He'll be fine for next week against San Fran.

As for the game itself, poor QB play+no pass rush=loss.

2 plays that changed the game were the 70 yarder to Edwards after Giants went up 7-3. Browns had playeed really well, and were still losing. They shut them down on that series, the crowd would have soured and the Giants would have got the motors running and blown them out.

The other play was the 2nd Eli INT. Just cut the lead before half. Get tha ball to start the 3rd quarter, which is the best time for the road team. Have a chance to take the lead, crowd was ready to crumble and Eli brought them right back into it.

The last INT wasn't a game changer, imo. By that time, the game was over. Even if they score, I do not think the D would have held Cleveland to give the O a chance.

Re: The Giants ........

I think Winslow is just getting out of the hospital not long ago, so not sure on him playing this week either.. we will have to wait and see if he gets sick again or injures himself in practice if he even practices.

It would be a huge break if Winslow is still out, although they still managed to get a lot of big plays from Edwards. I would put Carlos on Edwards man up after the way Rogers played Holt on Sunday.

Re: The Giants ........

Last night's game shows we need to come out strong and put the Browns away quick. If we don't, we'll be in for another struggle. How about no turnovers this week and the TDs by Portis, Moss and Shaun Alexander.

Re: The Giants ........

Last night was the best thing that could've happened. I mean ofcourse the giants losing is always great. But now we know we better be ready for cleveland. I think we have the perfect formula to beat them, Cause Springs being physical can really slow down Edwards winslow probly won't play and we can concetrate on the run. Honestly if our dbs our cincinatis dbs could catch the giants would be 2-3 instead of 4-1. Fuck eli.
