That's not a raspberry, it's a whole friggin orchard. That can't feel good. The bright red streaks that look like claw marks- I bet those are from cleats or a helmet. Owie.

Yeah... I think that just goes to show that it's not as easy as a lot of us fans think it is. For me it'd be hell if I had that big of a bruise on my leg. For Yoder it's probably painful but he still has a job to do through that. And I have no idea how he could've gotten a bruise that big.

I don't know if I ever saw a bruise like that. Hell I know I haven't. I hadn't even considered that possible and not be hurt in some more major fashion.

I thought he had a motorcycle accident when I first saw the photos.

Re: Yode's Corner: Bumps and Bruises
I'm guessing a bruise like that would probably take 2-3 weeks to clear up with no contact, yet Yoder will probably be knocking heads come Sunday. I never begrudge football players for the money they make, because this violent game surely reduces the quality of life for many after they're done.

That is an extreme case, he admitted that it was the worst bruise he had ever had. It is not a daily or weekly occurance. Sometimes the NFL can be rough, but it is not always that bad.

I think my thigh would have snapped in half. That's just bad. I guess that's called a deep bruise.
