Saints claim torrence
did'nt take long for torrence to find work,The NFL NETWORK said that the new orlean saints have claimed him.they lost a db yesterday for the season
with a broken kneecap.personally,i'm glad he got claimed,i heard he was a really good person. |

Good for him. I hope he does well in NO. He can't be that much worse than anyone else in their secondary.

He should improve their depth at CB. Mike McKenzie was the CB on their roster who went down this past weekend.
Saints' McKenzie placed on injured reserve

Considering that he is leaving a man defense for a zone defense(not that he was spectacular in man), you might be right. Smoot didn't pan out in Minn because of that same reason. But who knows, maybe a zone defense is better suited for him. Only time will tell, but I do wish him the best of luck.
