We should go there and relocate their people, take their land and exploit their resources.
Unless people havent evolved yet and then we would have a big ass Jurassic Park.

Yes, just as soon as you invent wormhole travel technology. The fate of the world rests on your shoulder FD. Don't let us down!

Damn you can't even give a man 2 shoulders to rest the fate of the world on? Or is this some sort of physical limitation that I am not aware of yet? |

By the time we create the technology to get us there I certainly hope we don't care about oil as an energy source.

Maybe we'll invent the combustible engine warp drive and use all our oil in one shot trying to get there. Hopefully they have a gas station where we can fill up to get home. Otherwise we're screwed.

The math says there's life on other planet. Us being the only life in the universe is absurd!

Re: NASA Confirms CO2 On Distant Planet, Life To Be Found?
There are two schools of thought on the subject. On one hand you have Spinoza, the greatest man whoever lived, who postulates that the laws that determines the fall of a tree and the sound it make exist whether they are perceived or not. That is to say "ideas and laws are more permanent and therefore more real than senses perceived particular things."
On the other hand you have Berkeley who postulates that "objects of sense exist only when they are perceived." That is to say if no one is there to hear the tree fall the tree does not make a sound because it doesn't even exist. I tend to favor the school of Spinoza. Yes because knowledge is power.
