Spagnuolo!!
Watching this Giants-Cowboys game and the thinking is he was the right man for this job. I hope after this season we look at this guy as the next head coach instead of Bill Cowher. He would be cheaper and this guy brings pressure like no one. He would do wonders with a defense led by Fletcher, Taylor, Carter, New Defensive Tackle (draft or free agent), Hall, Rogers and Landry!! I believe we have more athletes than the Giants do but hey they have a better scheme. I know we want consistency but Zorn and Campbell both need to go. Spagnuolo, Eagles QB coach as defensive coordinator and an assistant from Giants that he may bring with him to be the defensive coordinator would be alright heading into the future. Also m a new special teams coach. What do you guys think?

Re: Spagnuolo!!
He didn't want to come here before, what would change his mind now?

Re: Spagnuolo!!
He turned is down last year. No reason to think he'd accept again. Also no reason to think Danny has the humility to offer him the gig again after being shot down once already.

Re: Spagnuolo!!
The reasons Spag's didn't come here last year is very different then the reasons we got turned down by Cowher. Cowher wanted total control, and Snyder respectfully declined. Spagnola just didn't like the organization and on top of that he didn't trust the front office and honestly this season has done nothing but make Spagnola thankful he didn't take the job. However I seriously doubt Spag's comes here short of Snyder finding a GM with a reputation for building a winner or at least someone who worked under a guy like AJ Smith.
Personally though I would love to see the team not only rebuild the front office but also manage to bring Spagnola to Ashburn.

Re: Spagnuolo!!
If Snyder is done with Zorn, I don't see any way he turns the team over to another guy with no head coaching experience.

Re: Spagnuolo!!
Not only that but why would Spagnuolo want to come to a dysfunctional franchise with an ASSCLOWN as our GM.

Re: Spagnuolo!!
If we get another coach, it will probably be Fossil. After seeing all the coaching mistakes, I think we probably would have been better off. Continuity sucked. I think what they ment by continuity was let the oline play until they were senior citizens.

Re: Spagnuolo!!
I am just saying that Snyder has wanted him forever, and probably feels pissed off, that he did not hire him all these times.

Re: Spagnuolo!!
Am I the only one here who thinks Zorn is safe because Snyder fears an Oakland-esque situation more than he fears that he was wrong on Zorn?
Obviously, this shouldn't matter in the discussion of doesn't Zorn deserve to keep his job or not, but I think it's an academic discussion because he isn't going anywhere.

Re: Spagnuolo!!
Didn't Cerrato really want Zorn?
Therefore if Snyder was to fire Zorn--doesn't he have to hold Cerrato accountable as well? And since I don't think Snyder will hold Cerrato's feet to the fire--I think Zorn is safe for next year... |

Re: Spagnuolo!!
i want to know why zorn should be fired? this his first year as a head coach and at worst we finish 7-9. i understand we started 6-2, but our team was not that good. he hasnt had a chance to get his personnel in here to run his system. i dont think campbell is the type of QB he wants to run his system. here is some food for thought here are some numbers of first year head coaches. Bill Walsh 1979 2-14; Bill Parcells 1983 3-12-1; Jimmy Johnson 1989 1-15; and our own Joe Gibbs 1981 8-8
