oops. screwed that up. I meant to vote C. Now the whole things ruined!:>(
Sorry Matty! Kickoff coverage was weak, returns weren't great. BUt Tupa punted well and the coverage there wasn't bad. Needs work.

Now I don't know where Ade Jimoh was on Special Teams but I'm sure he was somewhere in the vicinity. I didn't recognize who missed the initial tackles, but the coaching staff will. Overall, the SP was the weakest aspect of the Redskins team.

Poor kickoff coverage. That needs to be fixed real fast. Pretty sure it will though.

I fixed it for you Sunra.
I give them a 'C'. Return coverage needs some work, Hall missed a 50 yarder but normally he's money on long ones so I'm not going to hold it against him. He did hit his next two. |

gave them a "D" as we have to turn our coverage and returns completely around if we plan to be competitive. Tupa did well but he can't carry our ST on his shoulders.

I gave it a C, but it's probably more like a C-. Like Matty said, Hall should usually make that 50 yarder so I'm not worried about that. That special teams coverage is a cause for concer though. Tupa, I believe, averaged nearly 50 yards a punt but it was negated by the poor coverage. That has to improve. And I'd sure like to see fewer fair catches by Chad

That was me with the inadvertent 'A', Matty, not SUNRA and his Intergalactic Arkestra!
Thanks. Does anyone know much about the ST coach? He's Williams' guy, isn't he?

This is the weakest link of the team right now. It will get better next week as the staff will concentrate on how to fix it.

Poor coverage, but Tupa did well, Hall hit 3 of 4 (and crushed the one he missed), and the return game didn't make errors. Solid C.

C from me.
Nothing too impressive in the ST play, but I expect that to improve. PS - I love John Hall. He's probably the most underrated pickup that Snyder has ever made. I believe the PK is one of the most important players in the NFL. So many games come down to the wire and it's vital to have someone you can count on. I shudder to think of the Conway days... |

i gave a D. Hall missed the FG (even if it was long, he can hit the 50 yarder), the coverage units were bad, and the return game wasnt good either. Tupa saved them with his nice punts. its more ove a D+. mostly cuz i expected better from this coaching staff on the coverage.
