Yeah, I've just recently started watching 30 Rock. It's hilarious. Tracy Morgan and Baldwin crack me up. It's not in the "can't miss" category for me yet, though. Those shows would be 24, Lost, The Office, and Friday Night Lights.

I have tried to get into that show. I like Steve Carrol movies, but he is such an annoying dipshit in that show. He pisses me off more than entertains. I just cannot get into it.

I lost interest in Friday Night lights after the first couple of episodes. I haven't gotten into 24 or Lost either.

Havent tried 30 Rock yet.

That's part of the humor. Carrell is just like that. The whole premise of the show is Michael's (Carrell's character) ineptitude. Dwight Schrute (Rainn Wilson) is hilarious too. Anyone catch The Office special after the Super Bowl? When he pulled out the buck knife and started stabbing the CPR dummy... man I was almost in tears.

Baldwin has become a stock character of sorts lately. His roles in 30 Rock, Along Came Polly, and Fun With Dick and Jane have essentially been the same role, but he does it so well. I think he's great.

I think Friday Night Lights is some of the best television out there right. I absolutely love that show.

Re: 30 Rock

I used to watch 30 Rock here and there but it was never must see TV for me... until this season. Now I'm into it almost as much as I am with The Office. Great cast and great writing, Alec Baldwin is so hilarious.

Not to get off topic here, but I thought Baldwin was really underrated in The Departed

Re: 30 Rock

30 Rock is hilarious, and IMO has been better episode for episode this season than The Office. Even got my wife into 30 Rock, even though she didn't like it at first.

Baldwin was great in The Departed, but is overshadowed by the main characters. That movie just oozes awesomeness.

I can agree with that. 30 Rock is more laugh out loud funny than The Office, but The Office still cracks me up too.

Plus there's a little more emotional attachment to the characters and story on The Office. 30 Rock is just ridiculous kind of funny.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a big The Office fan, but it just hasn't been as laugh out loud funny as it's been.

I agree. This season is definitely not the best, but it's still a great show overall.

Re: 30 Rock

When Tina Fey was "talking herself up" in the mirror an called herself a stupid bitch, for some reason I could not stop laughing. She makes that show for me. I never knew on SNL how hilarious she is. Baldwin is great, and so is Tracy Morgan.

Thursdays are the only nights I really care about watching TV, and I watch almost the whole lineup. I hate the kath and kim show, but i DVR the rest of them on that night.

Yeah. This is the funniest show on television. Alec Baldwin is fantastic. The episode where Lemon goes to her high school reunion and everyone thinks he's some guy named Larry Braverman is top notch.
