Do You Think We'll Trade Down In The Draft?
There are just too many players who fit our needs who will grade out as 1st Rounders. Any of these players could be available when we pick:
OT - Andre Smith, Michael Oher DT - B.J. Raji, Peria Jerry LB - Brian Cushing, Rey Maualuga Personally, I love the idea of having OG Duke Robinson on our team but I doubt that we'd draft him at #13. |

With so many players available, it's not impossible to think we could trade down and still get at least one of those guys

I know I wouldn't trade down if either B.J. Raji or Andre Smith were there at #13. |

My personal oppinion...."if" we get Haynesworth, they let Evans go for Canty and find a way to keep Taylor and Hall......I'm betting they use the #13 pick on an OL. If they are able to keep and upgrade our defense in FA then I would almost guarentee they pick the best OL or trade down to get an extra pick but use both on OL. Why not at that point your defense is already set for the most part and we would be in major need of OL.

Nevertheless, you make some good points. Canty would be a nice solution at LDE. Then JT could play a hybrid LB/DE position and freelance more. Add Haynesworth to that and we could have a great Defense, although I don't know how we could sign Haynesworth while paying JT $8.5M. Then, as you stated, if a top OL (hopefully, a RT) were available at #13 we'd take him. Otherwise trade down and load up on OL prospects. Now, are you willing to take personal responsibility for signing Haynesworth and Canty? |

Poor thread title. It made me think Cerrato came out and said something about our draft plans, instead I'm presented with a user's opinion.

Can we have an orientation for newbies...I don't know maybe a few powerpoint slides explaining the process of creating a thread. Maybe a quick look at threads that have been locked and why. LOL.

Agreed, very let down by content here. But...we should trade first for a 2nd and 3rd or 4th rounder if possible. We only have four picks.

They don't have to be if we hold ourselves to a higher standard. We are not ES.
