Will We look to up grade the OL next?

I ask this because I thought Chad Rinehart had a lot of up side will he get a chance at that LG spot?

Where have you been? At the end of year meetings the coaching staff basically admitted that Rinehart is probably going to be a bust.

We need one more free agent upgrade and that no question has to be on the Oline! Then draft another olineman in the first and we are much better.

I don't know if we have enough room for Brown C from Baltimore, that's who they should have signed first.

Well he's not getting the money he was expected to get in the free agent market. So that's going to help us, if we and he is still interested.

Didn't hear that wow...so if our WR's and TE in last years draft don't pan out only Horton was any help!

Yeah I thought Rinehart was going to be solid, but it turns out that he is much like the rest of the first five picks from last year. Suspect.

Still have hopes for at least one of the second rounders to really step up and make a contribution next year.

I like Davis at TE should we try to get both Davis and Cooley on the field at the same time like the Colts do with thier TE? Also if Rinehart is that big a bust why have we not cut him?

I think maybe they are trying to light a fire or something? I mean he seriously got called out in public at those review meetings.

Between now and the preseason I think Rinehart will shape up and turn into a starter. I also think thats an unfair assessment of his skills.

Chad...it's okay. Just because you're a bust doesn't mean that you can't contribute. That is you right, Chad?

Good post, players often make big strides between years, especially 1 & 2. Even if he only makes the team as a reserve, I really don't think that's enough to label him a bust.

I have seen conflicting reports on that. Wasn't that basically a post by JLC that said the staff labeled Rinehart a bust.

I also saw an interview with Bugel where he painted a much more positive picture.

This team is not afraid to sit someone a whole year (remember Rocky?). They liked Rinehart a lot in camp and he is an all american. I wouldn't write him off completely yet.

That's what I've seen. He talked about Rinehart going to somewhat of a small college and it's taken him awhile for the light to come on, but the light came on toward the end of the year. He said Rinehart now knows what he needs to do. I've also heard it said that their coaching (The young guys) was going to be stepped up to get these guys ready this year.
