Ok most of you know that I live with my girlfriend and everything has been fine up until now. Now I know that women have their moods and everyone needs space once in a while but this is crazy. Everything I do now seems to piss her off. I took her car to get new tires and an oil change (something she never does) and she says "I don't need you to do anything for me" Ok then. That was 3 weeks ago, then today when I get home from work and say hey baby how are you she says "I didnt ask you to ask me how I am doing! WTF!!!! Ok maybe I am doing something wrong so I am asking the path for advice what should I do????

Time to be a man dog. Tell her to get her act together cause you won't put up with her shananigans for much longer and that's being nice. As a matter of fact ignore her altogether and do you.

Two questions

1. When you took the car to get tires and the oil changed we you expected to be doing something else? Did you forget something?

2. When you asked how she was doing did you forget to do something that she had asked you to do earlier?

If the answer to both of those is "No" then take Sadden's advice.

Well, I think you should maybe communicate and ask her if something is up 'cause she's been short and snappy with you and if she says "nothing", and doesn't engage in a convo, let it go. If she continues to act all crazy then you can let her know that it is not ok the way she's acting towards you. If she is unwilling to communicate at that point, give her a taste of her own medicine. Retreat, be aloof, don't ask her ANYTHING and don't do a goddamn thing for her. Let's see how long that lasts. Could be the beginning of the end if no resolution is met. In the words of George Costanza, you need "hand".

No, I was not justifying her actions. I was just trying to see if there might have been an underlying reason to her snappiness. You can give a woman the world, but if she was expecting the moon instead, then you will hear about it. It is up to you to point out the fact that she got the world instead of the moon. If no compromise is made and she still bitches then there are problems.

Edit (Just because I know LB is reading) At that point you sit her ass in the corner of the kitchen with a potato peeler, bag of potatoes, and a trash can.

Dude I've been in your shoes multiple times, maybe you should just ask her straight up if something is wrong. And if it keeps up then be a man about it like saden said.

From what I've learned is just talking about stuff in the open saves a lot of time and future misunderstandings.

And its corny, but if its meant to be it is. Meaning if she is gonna flip for stupid stuff and take it too seriously without apologizing, changing, etc. time to get moving. If your relationship matters it will work out and she will get over herself.
