Rumor: Browns Shopping Quinn (Two Teams Interested)
Why do I have that bad feeling Danny might get involved in this one, that is if he isn't already! "one of 2 teams" It sure can be stressful as a skins fan

We could always trade thrash for edwards! Now I'm down for that!

I need to hear something a little more concrete before I'll start to worry about this latest rumor.

Re: Rumor: Browns Shopping Quinn (Two Teams Interested)
I like Quinn and I think he's going to be a solid NFL QB but he's still pretty unproven. If you're going to start over at QB I think you need a more proven guy.
Edwards is trash. He's the new 50/50. |

Matty, would you do the last trade I proposed? Cleveland needs a TE (not cooley!) You never answered?

I said I like Quinn but he's unproven and I think Edwards is trash. So the answer is no.

Thanks Smoot, though I prefer "JC and Fred Davis, for Quinn and Braylon. Would you do it?" Watch how many hits that would get.....lol

Re: Rumor: Browns Shopping Quinn (Two Teams Interested)
I highly doubt we're interested in Brady Quinn. He can't beat out Derek Anderson and when he got a chance to play he really didn't do anything. Nice college QB but I'm not sure he's really going to be a good pro.

While everyone knows I don't like JC (lol), I think Quinn is too unproven to start over at QB. I dont want to lose another year or two on the "learning curve".

Re: Rumor: Browns Shopping Quinn (Two Teams Interested)
Why not? Zorn is gone next year (barring a super bowl victory?) Shanahan will have his offense in place next year anyways.....LOL

If that happens let Shanahan pick his guy.

Re: Rumor: Browns Shopping Quinn (Two Teams Interested)
I'd rather let Shanahan pick a guy to pick the guy, he needed a real GM about as bad as we did. If Shanahan could just coach and let a GM do his job maybe.
Anyways, what this could mean for us. Browns want a first for Quinn and Edwards huh? I don't know if that happens but Crabtree is meeting with the Browns sometime this week, fresh out of his walking boot. They say that the Browns are pretty interested in him. If they pick him up at (I think) the 5 spot in the draft that's one more position taken that's not a need of ours and could slide down someone like Raji or Oher one more spot. I guess they could also try to get Sanchez but I'm not sure that I see them doing that even with Quinn gone. |
