Why I like Jason Campbell
No matter what transpires this season, JC is a class act guy. When faced with the opportunity to down talk critics and blame everyone else for the finish last year, or the trade talk, etc. the guy politely re-focused the talk back to His being a part of this TEAM... not his individual opinions on which way the FO can stuff their wayward way of treating players. JC once again proved that He was above the backbiting and clearly out classed anyone involved in that debacle. Sure, it is the NFL, sure it's a business, but someone of lesser inner fortitude would become such a cancer that VC and DS would have to rid themselves of the player by training camp, leaving the season pretty much at risk. This guy saw all of that, and chose to take the high road. GOOD FOR HIM!!! GOOD FOR HIM NOT BEING ANOTHER PRIMADONNA, JERK, ME FIRST- SCREW THE OTHER GUYS ATHLETE!!!!!! The guy is gonna have a big year: The OL is better, He finally has height and downfield speed to go to, and Portis has yet another season of complete physical training under his belt (aka BEAST!!!). When it comes around to contract time for JC, DS better get ready to dole out some serious numbers, because this year JC will prove how special He is. I'm done.

Re: Why I like Jason Campbell
Agreed. If it's news, rumors, unique analysis (like blocking grades, game analysis, or CB YPA stats), or a very intriguing question (stress on the very part) then it deserves a thread. Opinions fit perfectly in existing threads though they look kind of awkward in the main section of the forum as stand alones.

Re: Why I like Jason Campbell
There obviously has been a conspiracy which keeps Chase Daniel from starting. He's proven himself worthy of the starting QB spot.
If we can have the Cult of Colt, we can also have the Case for Chase. Or maybe not...

Re: Why I like Jason Campbell
So when JC has a good season this year, he's only gonna deal with the Redskins right? I'll give JC credit when he actually deserves it, when your making 4 mil a year to play mediocre football you better say the right things at press conferances.

Funny, I was just talking to a friend about this... but asked the question of how long it would be before there was a "Chase for Chase".

Re: Why I like Jason Campbell
I like him because he keeps himself neat and clean.
I doubt that whomever will be starting at QB for us in the 2010-2011 season will have any better personal hygiene than Jason. |

_______ I agree with you, but as we all know JC went as our OL went if they stay healthy watch this guy put up real good numbers, and Zorn needs to stop being vanilla in his play calling. |

Re: Why I like Jason Campbell
Jason Campbell has handled himself with nothing but dignity and class ever since he came to Washington. The Skins management could learn alot from Mr. Campbell.
