# Name Pos Ht Wt Exp College Birth Date
78 Batiste, D'Anthony OL 6-4 314 3 Louisiana-Lafayette 03-29-1982
80 Hagans, Marques WR 5-10 205 2 Virginia 12-29-1982
78 Marquardt, Michael DT 6-3 302 1 Arizona State 07-10-1982
19 Shelton, Trent WR 6-0 202 1 Baylor 09-21-1984
53 Young, Darrel LB 5-11 245 R Villanova 04-08-1987

Batiste and Hagans both made poor plays that just put me against them. I don't know exactly how bad either are, but they both aggravated me, so they are gone.

Marquardt and Shelton just seem like they have been non-factors. I could be missing something, but they just don't seem to have made a name for themselves.

And Young, a) doesnt live up to the number 53, and b) seems a little lost out there.

You could probably keep Hagans and cut Hackett, or Eloi and it would be the same effect.

Just made my list. No use in repeating it since it's the same. Agree about 53.

Re: You are the Turk! Do the Five Cuts!

1.Eloi- He should just stick to YouTube.

2.Justin Tryon- He hasnt shown any spar

3. Shaun Suisham- Everyone was talking about how good Hunter the Punter is at holder. Tough comoetition, but he missed wide left. Not good.

4. Michael Marquardt- Haynesworth sets the bar at DT, and we expect something similar to him. This isnt a game of limbo.

5. Darrel Holmes- We filled 28 spots on the roster with rookies. Its almost Monday, and he didnt help replace Marcus W.

I would be ready to cut atleast 10 more at this point, but come Monday our roster will drop to 75. The starters will not be playing as much do to health. Therefore some people on this team are going to have to show off. Hail? Hail Yes!

Re: You are the Turk! Do the Five Cuts!

Some of you truly believe Tryon is one of the five worst players on the team right now? He hasn't been great, but has showed some talent. I think cutting Tryon in the first five cuts would be more of an emotional reaction to his play, than a logical one.

Sometimes people just hate certain players without any logic. I'm sure there are worst player or other camp fodder that the team will cut. I don't know when Tryon's rookie contract is up, but I'm sure we can keep him until then and see if he can develop.

for the players if they are going to be cut now is the best time before the later cuts come. At least they stand a better chance of being picked up. Thats why i said earlier that if JZ knew who he was going to keep among the QB's he needs to go ahead and make the call now. Same with the RB's. I could see guys like Mason and Aldridge being picked up if we cut them.

And be the #4 CB. I liked his play against the Pats a lot. Smoot was good too. It was DeAngelo that got owned.

Let's cut DeAngelo!
