Washington Capitals 2009-2010 ongoing thread

This is where the road to the Stanley Cup begins. Right here. Right now.

Caps. Bruins. Who's ready?

Ted Leonsis has been the owner for 10 years and we have yet to win a Stanley Cup. He's got to go!!!!

Seriously though, I really hope this is the year. Rock the Red!

At least he has the brains to let a hockey guy (McPhee) make hockey decisions.

Ovie picking up right where he left off last season. What a beast. Laich having a great game too. I love that Erskine stood in there and traded blows with Joe Thornton.

Go Caps!!!

Way to ruin my sarcasm Scud ...McPhee, of course, has made some huge blunders along the way...but that's neither here nor there...Rock the Red!

Dude, Mike Illitch has owned the Wings since who knows when. The Wings sucked bad in the 70's to early 80's, then he got Jacque Dumeres and they were a playoff team, but Gretztsky, and the Black Hawks kept them from the playing for Lord Stanley, then Dumeres left, for Brian Polano who sucked ass. It wasn't til Bowman came around that the Wings were real contenders and actually won it. My point is Leonsis so far has done a real nice job for the Caps. You guys were right where the Wings were in the 70's, they sucked ass, and now you are a good solid, young team!!!! Patience, you might get your cup this year and even maybe next as well.

PS. Sorry about misspelling Jacque's last name!

Re: Washington Capitals 2009-2010 ongoing thread

Anybody know a site online to watch the game? F'n Comcast overcharging DTV for Versus means I no longer get Versus on DTV and I can't watch the game. I was at a bar for the first two periods but I'm home now. Any sites anybody knows of?

Nice little game we got going on here. Not a bad way to open up the year. Still rooting for an ovechkin or a laich hat trick.
