There'd better be an ambulance ready for JC.

Yeah really damn it how did the front office not see this happening. Jansen was old and hurt, Thomas is old & hurt, Samuels is a 10+ year pro, Kendall was also a 10+ year pro. Rabach sucks too what says don't draft o-lineman?

I know, but Rino was inactive at least.

What's crazy is he had no reason to be inactive. Zorn said he hurt his shoulder but that's not what kept him out. He said they just wanted to give Mike Williams a shot at right guard because they liked what they saw in practice.

That's insane. Rinehart is a 3rd round draft pick from last year who has played solid by most accounts the last two weeks (his first two starts ever). And then you just bench him for a converted tackle? Makes no sense to me. Rinehart is not going to get any better and become a solid starter for us if you don't let him play.

What happens in two weeks against the Eagles if Samuels is healthy? Rinehart goes back to the inactive roster? Where's the advantage in that

Skins' offensive line philosophy has been flawed in many respects for 25+ years.

Zorn putting the nails in his (and JC's) own coffin.

Re: Samuels Out Next Week

The OL needed upgrading at the end of last year - - but it really did not get any. Adding Mike Williams and Jeremy Bridges (temporarily) was woefully insufficient.

What Danny Boy needs to do is to identify the people in the organization who thought the OL was good enough to be part of a championship contending team as it stood at the end of the 2008 season and get rid of all of them. If they are coaches, fire them. If they are scouts/personnel people, fire them. If it is the nominal GM, fire him. If it is any of the various team consultants - on the payroll or just informal advisors - fire them.

If it is the owner himself, then fans need to learn to live with it...

I wondered what Bugles thought about his o-line?

That's a big part of the reason that I've been saying it's time for Buges to ride off into the sunset since last season.
Either he's doing a poor job evaluating talent or Vinny and The Little Man are still so convinced that he's still got enough of that 80's magic to turn any fat guy into a Hog. Either way, the O-line is killing this team and has been the Achilles's Heel for too long now so something needs to change.
