Turning Point of the Season...
Joe Gibbs first win as Redskins coach and the turning point of the 1981 season came week 6 at Soldier Field in Chicago. The Redskins won 24-7 that day and went on to finish the season at 8-8. Keep the faith.
Hail to Joe Gibbs & the Redskins! |

I'm getting tired of clinging to history, but hey it's all we've got right now.
Let's just hope history repeats itself. It's way too early to give up hope, we've been through these kinds of messes before. When Marty was here we went from absolutely dreadful to a pretty respectable team by season's end. It's a long season, anything can happen. |

"I just remember being miserable," Gibbs said when asked about the 0-5 start. "And I'd say this is every bit as miserable. ... This may be a rare deal right here, but every other time when I've gone through it, I look back at it and say, 'This is the reason why we went through it.' We'll see what this one is going to be. Life is full of wild things." http://msn.foxsports.com/story/3075666 |

I know, it doesn't mean a hill of beans I just thought of it and thought it was at least interesting. Same week of the season, same opponent, same stadium, bad losing streek...We are bound to get some luck one of these weeks.
The past doesn't matter, all that matters is the Redskins playing a game where they move the football for a change and not make game altering mistakes like they have been proned to all year. |

If our offense can pick it up just a little bit, we will win like four straight games going into Philly, becaues the teams we play suck. Right now, so do we offensivley, so if we dont pick it up, its a moo point. However, I just want to see some offensive production and more of the same from the defense. I'm gonna cling to history, but if we lose to Chicago......

Hopefully it will make a SB win that much sweeter and we can all look back on this and laugh.
*Fingers crossed* |

Let's hope so. If the offense can get it together we should be a good football team. With our defense, we can play w/ anyone. Go skins.
