With Morton out for the season has anyone heard anything about possibly bringing brian mitchell in too return punts and kicks. he has said on his post game show he would love to play for the skins again.

I can't really say that I see this happening. I do think that this may open a door for McCants to dress, though. We may also see a little more Rock, too.

Brian Mitchell was really miffed at our organization when he left. Moreover, his last year in New York wasn't too great.
We're fine between Betts and Thrash, both of whom have demonstrated their ability to return kicks and punts. |

It would be pretty big of the Skins to resign BMitch if just to allow him to retire a Redskin. He's already said if he goes into the Hall, he would go in as a Skin and that that past is forgotten.

I loved Mitchell when he was here and I was pissed when he was let go, if anyone was a 'true Redskin' it was him.
That being said I don't think he has much left in the tank. |

Yeah but he brings more to the table besides returning punt and kicks. |

BMitch is a class guy. I loved him as a Skin, and rooted for him as an Eagle and a G-Man, except when they played us. He says he wants to retire as a Skin, and says he and Dan have made up a bit. I'd love to see him come back, either as a player or a coach. He's had some great observations on that Comcast Monday Night show. For example, he points out that Portis doesn't sell the countertrey. He says Portis doesn't fake to the left as well as he should before he starts right ont the counter. I've noticed that a lot since he said that, which may partly explain why we don't always get a lot of yards on that play.

BMitch said that as of this morning he hasn't been contacted by the Skins but he's ready to suit up right away if they call him.

I would like to see B.Mitchell back. If nothing else to show the young guys what it takes to be a all pro like he was. He really was in every sense what Joe Gibbs wants out of his "true Redskins"

I agree but I think we're fine with guys like Thrash and Betts picking up the slack.
