Democrats Meet Alvin M. Greene Can't Make This Up

This is just too funny the guy had no money, no cell phone, and no computer and beat out SC 4 term senator. You just cannot make this stuff up. Didn't someone say the Rep. party was done?

I am glad you put this on here. Basically, this is corruption at it's best. Holding a charge over a man';=s head and then causing him to humiliate himself. Doing this to display power? or ignorance? Hopefully this gets exposed. How you gonna enslave someone because they are facing a charge you can drop if he does as you wish? Is that legal? I don't think so. I'm from dysfunctional South Carolina. They want office just to have office. Tt's waht happens when taxes are cut and the rich takeover. Back in time we go.

The GOP will never be done in SC, to think otherwise is simply foolish...nationally they're toast in the long run unless there's change in the way they do business. SC is one fucked up state...Dems should stop whining and instead should do their homework on who is running under their banner.

It's obvious the only reason he ran was because he was forced to. Someone in giovernment is uinsg the chargege to force him to do it. What does that amount to? Start with Lott.

Now I get what your saying. Even if a Rep. got him to run people still had to vote for the man. LOL

We had what's called Harborfest this weekend which is in city of Norfolk Va. and the city across the river in Portsmouth. We pretty much spent the weekend out on the boat enjoying the events. Its pretty cool as we have a river taxi which will pick us up so we can go on shore and enjoy the music and events. It will also bring out friends so they can get on the boat. Its nice because Grayson is now 3 and seemed to really enjoy the boat more this weekend and will finally go in the cabin and take nap. So how is the surfing in your area? Isn't the water very cold?

Re: Democrats Meet Alvin M. Greene Can't Make This Up

Greene describes himself as a "moderate Democrat." His campaign slogan is "Let's get South Carolina back to work."[7] Greene favors measures to lower the price of gas and supports offshore drilling. He supports a united Korea under a democratic system of government.[10] He would let the Bush tax cuts expire and supports reform of the financial industry. Greene supports job creation and would increase highway construction projects and pursue alternative energy sources. He has also called for better school facilities and pay raises for teachers. When asked about free trade, Greene said that he has to look into the issue further before taking a position.[citation needed] On the subject of firearms, Greene said he supports the Constitution.[6] Greene favors winding down the wars the Middle East and "using that money for domestic programs, such as job creation, education, and Social Security."[6]

Greene's wiki is already longer then Rawl's and his postions may help him identify with SC voters. Honestly i think i would vote for him just for the fun factor.

According to Newsweek's Tony Dokoupil, "when people's opinion of Congress is near an all-time low, as it is today, majority party incumbents slip an average of 12 points in polls, compared with years in which the public views Congress more favorably. The data give credence to predictions that this fall could be among the worst Democratic showings in decades."

Here's hoping he's right.

There will be losses but can the GOP overcome its handicaps and win a majority? We shall see.

p.s. If SC is the swears, PA is the toilet.
