That's really a weird video. I wonder if there is more to the story than just this. If not the guy ought to be given the boot by the voters and censured by his party.

From what I saw he only asked him if he supported the Obama agenda. This guy might be looking for a job in the next week or so. Well probably not sense the dems don't seem to care unless they have an R behind their name.

That's the problem tho, who knows what lead up to this. Maybe they had people all along his path, harassing him as he walked. I don't know. I don't understand why they would fuzz the student's face out. Overall, he is still responsible for his actions which were clearly out of proportion to the student's actions.

Yes, a congressman should handle himself better. You can't manhandle people even if they're harassing you...ever.

Yes you can, you just gotta pay the consequences. If you're harrassing me and you take it too far we're fighting. Everybody has a limit.

Of course, everything we do has consequences. My point was he is an extraordinary person. These are customers if you will, and you can't attack a customer. If he is physically threatened, by all means, kick some ass, otherwise smile for the camera and keep walking.

That's what I was thinking. The Congressman asked him a strait forward question. Who are you? When the kids didn't answer him, it was evident to me they were just looking to bust his balls. He did deserve to get popped in the mouth though. You don't put your hands on people and expect to just get away with it. I bet his ass wouldn't have done that if it had been a grown man. If you're going to talk shit to someone then you've got to have the balls to back up your words. Speaking of which, does anyone know when Eric Cantor will be appearing in public?

Breitbart is very well known for releasing selectively edited videos.

LOL at this guy's opening statement:
Rep. Bob Etheridge Knocks Camera From Interviewer's Hand on D.C. Street
Quote:
After being ambushed by two young men wielding a video camera on a Washington street, Democratic Rep. Bob Etheridge of North Carolina knocked the camera from the hand of one of them.
Ambushed?!?! Really - LOL

Looks like the actions from a person who knows his days are numbered. I'm guessing whoever runs against him now has a great campaign add. The bad part is he was just past the kid when he turned to assult him. If he would have just kept walking he could have hid his anger for a few more months.

Had to do some searching, but I found his Party affiliation. Of course, since it didn't mention "Republican" in the headline, it's safe to assume it was a Democrat. When it's an "R", headlines everywhere mention it...when it's a "D", they don't mention it.

I agree with FD...looks like he's nervous about his job security...as he should be.

How about when they had the post office scandal (I think that one) and one of the major news papers put an R behind all the names saying it meant Representative when called out on the issue.

How much searching did you have to do? It says right in the first few seconds of the video. It's in the first few lines (if not the first line) of multiple news reports
