I like this quote from Cooley:

"But now [motivation] is coming from within as far as the players go. With the presence of Donovan and the way he expects guys to play, and what he expects himself to do, there are expectations within the huddle to play through your teammates and to play at a high level -- and it's not just from [the coaches]."

I think its a beautifully constructed piece of fluff.

The guy should start a resume writing business.

Regardless, you guys have to admit that McNabb demands more respect than JC and that should help make our other players better.

That is so true. I love though how him and Davis seemed to have formed a click to make sure they're able to get on the field together. Hopefully Cooley can be our Dallas Clark this year. By the way did anyone realize that Clark got 1,106 receiving yards last year, mostly out of the slot?

Re: CBS Sports Camp Tour: Redskins

Hope reigns eternal, most of us are excited to see it deliver on it's promise. If/when it's forced to clash with reality, hopefully there will be a positive outcome.

For now, I'll be happy to see any one of the 4 QB's on the roster throw a meaningful pass in a game, be it pre-season or otherwise. This is the first time I can remember going into a season with that many QB's on the roster that have never thrown a pass for the team.

I think cooley can be every bit as good as Clark, given a competent QB (like manning) and a TE pass happy Offense (like ours this season

Yeah I gotta admit: the offense could be ridiculous exciting this year! That's really my highest hope. It would be almost supernatural for the offense to do a 180 AND the defense to thrive in a brand new system all in a single year.

Hail!

Cooley better perform this year. I didn't bank on him being my bargain fantasy auction bids for nothing.
