Sunglasses question

So I got a nice pair of Ray-Bans back in June as a wedding gift from one of my groomsmen. Damn if I didn't manage to loose one of the earpiece things that slide on where they fit behind your ear. They look a little crooked and don't feel comfortable wearing them without the piece. I looked all over the place on-line and can't find anywhere to buy a replacement.

It's probably a shot in the dark, but anyone have any ideas?

Re: Sunglasses question

Did you contact the manufacturer? Ray-Ban Official Site

If all fails, but a cheap pair and transfer both earpieces over, even it it takes a little super glue to hold them on.

Or, see if there's a busted pair on eBay that you can "part out". People sell broken crap on eBay all the time. Or a cheaper pair of Ray Bans that the earpieces may work. Or some $10 knockoffs from a mall kiosk or guy on the corner.

Same thing happened to me, twice. First time it happened I took it to a sunglass place in the mall. They didn't have the piece but they said there is a lifetime warranty or something like that and gave me a new pair. FYI- they will only do this if the lenses are not scratched. With the replacement pair both pieces fell apart at the same time while I was looking down and was sweating and they fell off and of course hit the concrete and one of the lenses got scratched. Guess I will have to wait til they come off backorder. The very disgruntled customer service lady at Ray Ban said the store probably wouldn't have them and the ear pieces are a known defect, something about the chemicals on the face interacting with the rubber. You would think that for the price you pay for the glasses they would put spend an extra penny or two for better rubber.

OR...get that stuff that you dip tool handles into from the hardware store and do both sides.
