Cool banner
Excellent job with the banner, Summo! I feel like I'm right back in the '70's: Watching Billy Kilmer drop back to pass, watching Jaclyn Smith on "Charlie's Angels," and dancing to 'Saturday Night Fever" in my leisure suit.

Re: Cool banner
Agree, artistically it's great. Does a great job of capturing the time period and sticking with the theme of the site. However the time period itself is easily the worst time period in the history of man. Even the middle ages looks at the 70's and says "damn, thank God that's not us."

Re: Cool banner
The early period may have been rough, but it had its bright spots.
The first corrective eyeglasses(for farsightedness) were invented during the [long] period and the transition to a more efficient method of agriculture(3 field agriculture instead of 2 field agriculture) occured.

Re: Cool banner
Men wearing metal helmets, carrying spears, all while walking around in a skirt is not my bag. I'll take the 70's, John Travolta, and KC and the Sunshine Band any day of the week.

70's were plagued by their insistint abuse of the color brown. Heck even rainbows included the color brown. Not to mention that thanks to the Redskins failure in the 72 Super Bowl we've had to hear about the Dolphins "popping the champaign" for the last 500 years. And who the hell does this to a Porsche. I cried when I saw this picture. You are dead to me Lotus, you hear me DEAD@!!!!!@@!@@!! #Truth Quote:
