Re: Week 3 NFL Power Rankings

21 is way too low for us.. We dominated Hou all day before the 4th QTR. And How the heck is ARZ ahead of us? I say we are atleast 15th..

Re: Week 3 NFL Power Rankings

We took the #4 team to OT and had multiple chances to beat them. The Colts@ #5 were whipped by the team we went to OT with? Those rankings are ridiculous.

I would have no doubt that we are better then at least 10 teams that are ahead of us.

ESPN's is pretty accurate, I agree about the NFC WEST.. It's ridiculously bad. 7-9 may win that div.

I agree with those rankings. Hard to believe ESPN isn't still riding the cowboys jock though.

Wow, last week I thought the Skins were too high, now they are way too low. I dont think these ratings are worth much.

Re: Week 3 NFL Power Rankings

I like it .. this teams needs to see stuff like this before they go crowning themselves a good team .. you finish the houston game your a top 10 power team maybe top 5 ... they shot themselves in the foot ... beat the Rams ass this weekeend ... take it to Philly the following week and then we'll talk ..

each day that goes by the more i get pissed we blew that 17pt lead.

If we win in the future, the rankings will resolve themselves. If we don't win, we don't deserve to be rated higher.

19. Minnesota Vikings (No. 4; 0-2): If the Vikings drop any faster they'll get the bends.

As a medic, i find this funny. Dont you get the bends after you surface???? Coming up too fast?

Anyway, PFT is closest, but still way off. We are too low, the falcons AND the bears are too low. The bears especially. Their play has been great, and I know they beat the lions in week one, but the lions look like a MUCH improved team, almost like a .500 team. I am rooting for em, plus, I like Cutler too. Always thought he would get it going and become one of the top QBs in the league. Guess he just needed a good OC.......

Re: Week 3 NFL Power Rankings

I obviously hope the Cowboys keep loosing but I'm a little worried that doing this might lead to them significantly upgrading when it comes to their head coach, and we all know how effective that can be.

Gruden worked with a meddlesome owner before, one that actually makes Jones look good so it's possible that he might be tempted by all the talent available in Dallas. The NFC East is hard enough as is without having to face Gruden twice a year. Right now I'm hoping that he either stays in the booth or he joins Holmgren up in Cleveland after Mangenius is obviously fired.

I doubt Cowher will actually work for a guy like Jones and would love to take the Carolina job which is another concern for us if John Fox returns as a Coordinator for the Giants. He also wouldn't be a bad head coach for them either, but he worries me less then Gruden in Dallas. Still I wonder who Jones would hire if both Gruden and Cowher said no. Maybe Norv if he gets fired from San Diego.

Right now we're looking at a wildly competitive wildcard (Falcons, Bears, Vikings, Eagles, Cowboys, Giants). However wildcard teams don't usually win championships. We need to start winning the division and earning playoff byes if we want to start thinking Super Bowl.
