Where was Fred Davis?
Where was Fred Davis yesterday? Was he hurt? On the trading block? Anybody know?

Re: Where was Fred Davis?
He played...they didn't throw to him but he was there helping the OLine. Every time Cooley went in motion there he was in his 3 point stance all the way out there.

Re: Where was Fred Davis?
I'd like to see him get more looks from McNabb but he won't get looks if he can't get open and it might not be a big deal anyways if Armstrong keeps comin' on strong like he did yesterday.

Saw him on teams, believe he had the first tackle of the day.

Re: Where was Fred Davis?
I'd like to see him get more looks, especially in the red zone. Let's be real, we don't really have anyone with his size and speed to put pressure on the defense. He needs to be more involved.

Re: Where was Fred Davis?
I'd like to see Cooley get more involved first. But with our OL issues these guys are having to block more often.

Re: Where was Fred Davis?
I definitely think Cooley and Davis could both be assets in the red zone, but the only thing harder than running the ball in the end zone is passing the ball in the end zone.

Re: Where was Fred Davis?
I was just looking at the teams stats and he only has 3 receptions for 73 yards after 5 games. They have to get him more involved!!!

Re: Where was Fred Davis?
i was really thinking by now he would be, maybe they are waiting to unleash him. i would love to see cooley line up at te and have davis in the slot they would be so hard to defend.

Re: Where was Fred Davis?
LOL, I think people fail to remember Cooley is not awsome at blocking. He's good but not awsome, which is why I think Davis was left back. Davis is not awsome either but better then Cooley at blocking. We go against a weaker defense Davis will go out more causing mismatches.

Re: Where was Fred Davis?
According to my opinion...the only one I care about...Fred Davis should be the #4 option at any given time...
1. Moss 2. Cooley 3. Armstrong 4. Davis. The rest aren't very good. A week ago, I would have had Thomas #5...oops

Re: Where was Fred Davis?
They went a lot of 3-wide in the 2nd half--when they do that, FD sits. Sometimes, formation or opponent dictates personnel. I'd like to see more of him as well, but I think getting the WRs in sync with McNabb is more important at the moment.

Brandon Banks changed the time on Davis' alarm...
