Very sad, may he rest in peace. Hadn't realized yesterday about the high winds, I had thought it was structural damage

I wonder if he has any supervision or if its just one of those things where he shows up and starts filming. I'm guessing no one gave it any thought except him and he probably did not question anyone to its safety. Sad way to loose such a young person.

Re: Death of Declan Sullivan Raises Numerous Questions at Notre Dame
It sounds like one of his bosses could've told him to stay off the lift due to high winds. I know if 50 mph winds were blowing through the area there's no way I'd be in the lift. In the ESPN story it talks about other universities mentioning they won't allow if winds are too strong. If anything his death will serve as notice to football teams in college and elsewhere to put a strong policy in place to prevent future occurences. That's just too sad. I saw those tweets and after the one where he said he was freaking out he should've just gone done. There's no way anybody should be up in those things if the winds are blowing too fast, and they are supposed to have a wind reader on them if they are up in the lift.
R.I.P. Declan Sullivan.
