Cambell blasts redskins, says he was "scapegoat"

Jason Campbell Says He Was The 'Scapegoat' For The Redskins' Problems - Half Smokes - SB Nation DC

This might be water under the bridge, but i thought it was worth posting.

I didnt' take Jason for this kind of guy. Now he is making it sound like the team put all of the blame solely on JC, which as best I can tell, never happened. We blamed Jason for his poor play, but I dont think anybody blamed the performance of the entire team on him. The best part is where he says the organization was out to get him. Wow.

What will he say when the Raiders get rid of him? Why can't he man up and just admit, at least to himself, that he is not an NFL starter, and he should just be thankful for the opportunity to play??

You already know Davis is trying to get Vince Young...what will Campbell say then??

JC is just mad because he's about to lose his job again

I can't blame JC at all for being bitter with the Skins. I'm not sure what is accomplished by expressing his frustration to the press, though.

I'm just kind of shocked because I thought Jason was better than this. He didn't seem like the kind of person who would try and kick dirt on his old team. I just really didnt expect this from him.

A year in Oakland will eat your soul.

You didn't take Campbell as a kind of person that answers questions during an interview?

Actually, I'd have to give that to Rex, the king of sack-fumbles.

No & w/the sanchez & cutler talk, he's got his reasons. Though "out to get me" is just another way of saying "they thought I wasn't good enough."

JC probably was made a scapegoat,but he had his chances here.I dont blame him for what he said.The skins obviously dont know how to handle qbs{Snyder era}

Nor do they know how to put together a competent O-line with quality depth, which has hindered the success of Campbell and other QBs here, especially after injuries to Samuels, Jansen, and Randy Thomas became recurring events. Drafting Trent Williams was a positive first step, but the jury's still out on the Jamaal Brown acquisition, and hopefully Shanahan addresses the interior of the O-line this offseason.
