Disgusting. I hope she's convicted and receives the max sentence allowed.

Re: Don't Touch Her Bible!
Just one less pit bull to worry about. This has to be tied to coservative hate talk in some way. I mean come on I bet she saw Palin killing that Moose on TV and figured it was OK to kill the dog.

Re: Don't Touch Her Bible!
I love pits. Sure they can be terrible dogs if raised terribly. But if they are raised with love, they have no problems/issues.
Probably one of the most loving and loyal dogs in the world.

Re: Don't Touch Her Bible!
I can find story after story of the loving and loved Pit Bull that turns and attacks a family member. Sure I have been around pits that are great pets but their history is not very good.

Re: Don't Touch Her Bible!
A pit bull that is raised correctly and has an owner that knows what they're doing - there should be no problems.
Let's not get too sidetracked, we're talking about some wacko who killed a dog because the dog acted like... a dog. |

Re: Don't Touch Her Bible!
All breeds of dogs attack/bite at times but its the Pits power that the problem. When they attack they do allot of damage and they also seem to loose all control once they do attack. Its not attack on the dog its just their nature and why I would never have one in may home.

I must admit the Pit had incredible jaw power even when playing. You had to be careful with her as she did not know her own strength. Like a mini T-Rex

Re: Don't Touch Her Bible!
I just got all new carpeting yesterday in my house and we went out to dinner after a long day of dealing with the install.
I came home to explosive diarrhea from my Boarder Collie on the new rug. I pretty much felt like doing what this lady did to the pit bull. We don't hit our dogs but we did yell at her it is funny how BC's are so smart that she knew she did wrong. She hide from us the rest of the night and this morning she tried to be all loving with me to like "make up". Where as my mutt would have been in his own clueless world and probably keeping asking himself "why is everyone mad at me?" In the end my dogs are greater then the carpet but man did that piss me off.

Re: Don't Touch Her Bible!
I'm not making any thread rules, I don't have any APBTs, and beyond the "oh my God, a pitbull attacked someone!" shock factor, your link is meaningless.
