Defensive End Free Agent?

Rumor is that the Cowboys have had it with Marcellus Wiley and that he has had it with them. Wiley was quoted as saying that he was sorry he ever "stepped foot in Texas". One writer in Dallas area said that Parcells might sack Wiley just to show Wiley how to sack somebody.

Wiley was a big disappointment in Dallas (three sacks and not a lot of inspired play). But he has shown in the past that he can be a better than average pass rusher from the DE position.

Stay tuned...

I don't know about Wiley....

Also heard that John Abraham from the Jets might be available. He might be worth a look.

His best days are behind him.

I'd rather stick with what we've got.

The D ain't broke, no need to fix it.

I also agree. I would love to see the Redskins concentrate on finding a stud WR or another Jansen-like O-lineman. Finished 3rd ain't bad and I'm sure they're just as hungry to finish 1st next season.

Marcellus Wiley, also known as "Dat Dude" would be a huge waste of space. I'd take a chance on him on the low, but outside of one big year in Buffalo he's been a nonfactor.

I would like to see us go after Shaun Ellis if we don't draft a DE. He has been playing pretty solid for the Jets and we wouldn't have to spend alot of money. Plus he is still pretty young. I would also like to see us go after Adelius Thomas. I think he could come pretty cheap and he would be a guy that could thrive with Williams.

Also, is it just me or did it seem like even though Evans and Warner weren't the best pass-rushing DEs in the game, they were more than adequate? Being that the D was almost number one, I feel that the Redskins got their number of sacks and Williams knows how to utilize his guys to the best of their abilities. I say this with special consideration to our defense coming back with full strength in relation to injuries.

WTF would anyone want him? He is 30 years old and his numbers have been declining steadily. It would be a dumb move to even take a look at this fool.
