Scud's Studs (Week 15 @ Giants)
Woah! Who saw that one coming?? Always nice to sweep a division rival. First time since 1999 we've done that against the G-men. Let's get right to the Scud Stickers for this week!
Defense: Great performance. Key sacks by Rack and Kerrigan, 3 ints, all of which were quite impressive, and aside from a late garbage TD, kept a previously red-hot Eli Manning led offense out of the endzone. Great job. Offensive Line: Who could have imagined Tyler Polumbus and Willie Smith would be such good bookends against that ferocious NYG pass rush? Really solid job all day long from the guys up front. Run blocking wasn't stellar, but it was good enough that we could keep pounding and convert some key 3rd downs, as well as set up some play action. Offensive Playcalling: 33 rushes, 24 passes, chewed the clock, and kept the ball out of the Giants hands. It appears Kyle is pulling his ish together. There's plenty of love to go around, I'll let you guys take it from here.

I am waiting to see breaking news on the Washington Post that Kyle Shanahan was kidnapped before this game. LOL.
Kudos to him and the coaching staff for committing to the run.

Real good game on both sides of the ball. Good job to the coaching staff, cuz they came out ready to play. No BS penalties was good for once. Halls pick was nice.

Even the secretaries in Redskins Park were studs. Great effort by everyone.

Entire team played good today and great play calling again by Kyle.. Rex is Rex glad he'll be gone next year.
Gaffney- very good number 2 this season mostly a 1 really Helu- man this guy is a fighter, ugly game for him but he's a very bright spot OL- 1sack? Nuff said and that's without the best LT in the Division Defense as a whole- 98,91 get there sacks and what a catch by all 3 DBs. OJA and Hall were both big time plays. Whole organization - been a long time since we owned the Gmen for a year good job all around And too the true fans around here for always sticking through and rooting for the skins win or lose. We all get frustrated but yet we are always here ev Sunday HTTR!

FYI. No need for a smackdown this week. In fact, I'm shutting down the Smack Down for the rest of the season. Enjoy the holidays

Only one smackdown: a smackdown on the Giants for taking us so lightly. How's that crow, Antrel?

Re: Scud's Studs (Week 15 @ Giants)
I specifically want to single out Orakpo for getting his first sack in the NFCE, pressuring Manning all day AND finally getting a call on that necktie he's been wearing the past couple of seasons.

Re: Scud's Studs (Week 15 @ Giants)
OL-Smith, Hurt and Polumbus are keepers. I particularly love Willie Smith and will go on record to say he will be our RT next year. All of a sudden we have depth on the OL with all 3 of these guys playing well, I can say it's safe to say that Locklear and Brown are gone next year.

Like everyone said, whole Redskins team showed up today to shut Giants down. Awesome game! Although I have to say that Giants' WR corps helped us to win the game as well, especially Nicks. If Nicks had caught those two potential touchdowns then the game might end differently for us.
