Eagles LT Jason Peters re-ruptures his Achilles tendon
From USAToday, Jason Peters has reinjured his tendon, taking a season that was in doubt to one further in jeopardy.
I don't wish injury on any player, so I hope this thread can avoid the "point & laugh" mentality so pervasive on the intarwebs. M question is, how is Peters' contract structured? I know he signed a 6 year $60 million contract, but if he doesn't recovery fully, how much are the Eagles on the hook for?

This is a new issue with unqiue discussion that can be had. Super broad threads are not good and lead to fractured discussion and doesn't allow those of us that visit a few times a day to be able to keep up with the topics.

Never like to hear about a player having these types of injuries but it couldn't happen to a better team. Yesterday I played 18 holes of golf with Darryl Tapp's brother and did not figure it out until we were having dinner.

Rather than posting the guidelines to chide a fellow-poster, how about simply referring back to the thread where the discussion is taking place.
But enough of talking about how to talk about stuff, how about we talk about the stuff the thread meant for us to talk about ... Sucks to be Jason Peters. While I thought he was already out for the season, does this set him back so much that he might miss the following season? Is it a career ender? As a practicall matter, is he going to miss any more time than he otherwise would have?
