Redskins Vs Panthers - Lets break it down
Skins will be wearing throwbacks so we have to win!
Panthers are 20th in total offense 26th in PPG (18.3), Carolina is good running the ball (114 YPG) but most of that is Cam. On defense they rank 15th overall but give up 24 PPG. They are not good against the run (115 YPG) Last year Cam and Steve Smith ate us alive, I don't think that happens this time around. This will be similar to the Vikings game with RG3 shining late to seal a win.

Re: Redskins Vs Panthers - Lets break it down
I say this time no need for win stealing last drive: we are a good running team and can hope for an undisputed win

Cannot one accurately describe a panther as a big pussy?

I'm just hoping we win. I'm gonna be in North Carolina for this game. Don't wanna get too much flack from Panthers fans.

Re: Redskins Vs Panthers - Lets break it down
The Redskins win a shootout against a Carolina team that's in worse shape than they are. I would give the Redskins more but the pass defense has to improve before I can say that any game the Redskins win won't be close.

Re: Redskins Vs Panthers - Lets break it down
Just a question, who will replace D. Hall if he is suspended? I don't think there will be much of a drop off without him in there, well, maybe we won't give up a 15 yard penalty.

Re: Redskins Vs Panthers - Lets break it down
Sweet, #28 it is. I think Hall is still fast, unfortunately he always runs in the wrong direction. I really miss the days of Blanche and the 4-3, with that defense and our new offense we could easily be 7-1 if not 8-0. Such is life in the NFL.

Re: Redskins Vs Panthers - Lets break it down
After the let-down in Pittsburgh I expect to see a Redskins team foaming at the mouth.
Huge win, nothing else will do. |

Re: Redskins Vs Panthers - Lets break it down
If Cam is set to bounce back against any team, you had better bet that it will be at home against the Redskins. HORRIBLE defense + crappy home record +young mobile QB + ridiculous loss the week before + even more starters going down =
Panthers 37 Redskins 20 Haslett gets his walking papers from Shanahan the day after this game. Mark it down. Rejoice, because with this guy still here, there is ZERO hope for the D. With him gone, maybe someone else can scheme over and create some looks to mask a couple weaknesses. |
