Re: great injury news
Pierre needs to get on with surgery if it's pain all the time. He may have been back already if he had surgery and the pain probably gone. Torn ligament should be fixed as best as possible as quick as possible. Not having surgery when he can make tons in the NFL as well as fix it is a decision that will probably be done but should have already been done. We need help from our receivers not this. Hoping Niles Paul and Hankerson are ready to step up.

Re: great injury news
As I understand it, based on my own experience, ligament tears are tricky and, particularly in the foot, are hard to repair unless operated on relatively quickly. If not, they "scar-up" in the torn position and never fully heal. I am holding out hope b/c I am no doctor and maybe they know something I don't. But, honestly, it sounds a lot like what happened with my foot (torn ligament in the metatarsil). I had surgery several months after the actual tear and, over a year later, my foot is still not right.
Foot and hand stuff is very tricky b/c of the many working parts that go into them. Lots of little bones and ligaments that, if damaged, are hard to heal up. My bet is that it never fully goes away and he will have to get to the point where it is simply a manageable pain that doesn't increase the damage.

Re: great injury news
As much as I want to be happy about this, something tells me he's going to be playing hurt and probably will not be as effective as he normally would be.

After hearing that, I feel like he's another FA we can add to the bust list.

Re: great injury news
Garcon - even at 75% might be able to give us something.
JB - eh, might as well stick with Polumbus at this point. I give him 2 weeks before he's banged up again. Meriweather - sure would be nice if he could get in there and give us some halfway decent play at safety. |

Re: great injury news
I also read where Garcon doesn't want surgery. And yes it would be nice to see Meriweather make a difference. He could possibly help a lot. He says he feels 100%. We shall see...

Re: great injury news
I would be shocked if Garcon plays again this season, let's hope Meriweather doesn't bump into anyone at practice

Re: great injury news
Yeah he doesn't seem to handle that "contact" thing too well.

Re: great injury news
From the looks of it, if AA clears waivers, we are going to pick him back up.
LL @HTTR24_7 Last week we put out #Redskins tried to claim AA but JAX got him. They would have released Dez.. AA has been waived by jax, hits waivers CHAMPIONSHIP!!!...lol
