Where does this Cowboy's win Rank
Where do you rank this Thanksgiving day win against in comparison to past notable Redskins wins against the boy's?
I put this one pretty high as the intro of RG3 to Dallas as a Skin. I also think it can be a momentum shifting win that catapult us on a win streak to the playoffs. Name your top win against the Cowboy's and why, plus where do you put this win... Fun discussion before the Monday night match up.

For me it's up there with the Chris Cooley domination game and the Moss late game heroic game.

Re: Where does this Cowboy's win Rank
Doesn't mean anything in the grand scheme if we don't go to the playoffs. As of right now, it was huge in our efforts to get the to playoffs and to win our division. We still control much of our destiny, but we do need a little help. (starting with the Packers)

Just another cowboy game win, give me another 1982 playoff beatdown, then it will rank as memorable win.

Re: Where does this Cowboy's win Rank
It's pretty high up there. I would have to say the only three I can rank above are the 1972 NFC Championship game (which is at the edges of my memory and a big reason I am a Redskin fan), the "We Want Dallas" 1983 Conference Championship which truly ushered in the Joe Gibbs era, and the 2005 Hall of Shame game.
Actually, I would rank it above the 2005 game slightly just b/c of the epic nature of the victory (First win on Thanksgiving in Dallas). Depending on the events of the future, it could move up to challenge the first two. If we end up in the playoffs and RGIII ends up having the career we hope, history may judge this as his "coming out" party as the 1983 was to Joe Gibbs.

2nd to the 2005 14 - 13 win in Dallas.
It heralds the dawn of the dynasty. I think we fans will look back in 3-5 years and say "That's where it began". |

Re: Where does this Cowboy's win Rank
1st win on Thanksgiving and a big time memorable performance by RG3, I'd say the win ranks right up there. The double dagger of Brunell to Moss in 2005 is still tops for me.

Re: Where does this Cowboy's win Rank
The Redskins have had some pretty solid wins against Dallas. But to me this was just a game we needed.
I would rank the win in this order: 1. 31-17 NFC Championship win over Dallas 1982 2. 26-3 NFC Championship win over Dallas 1972 3. 41-14 trashing of the Cowboys at RFK Stadium in 1986 4. 38-31 whooping over Dallas at Cowboys Stadium on 11-22-12 5. 30-28 to complete the first ever season sweep of the Cowboys in 1984 |

2-3 all time. Those two 05 games were great. This was definitely top 5.
