Joe Jacoby: Hall of Fame semifinalist
The four time Pro-Bowler made the list of 27 semifinalists for the Hall of Fame.

Re: Joe Jacoby: Hall of Fame semifinalist
Joe Jacoby deserves to be in the HOF. Both he and Gary Clark.

Re: Joe Jacoby: Hall of Fame semifinalist
Hope he gets in. Starter on 4 SB teams at tackle and then guard. It would be well deserved.

Re: Joe Jacoby: Hall of Fame semifinalist
I might be reaching here, but the Hogs made it glorious to be an offensive lineman. They were actually celebrated. To the point where you'd pay less attention to Riggins and hone in on the blocker(s) in front of him paving the way.
Changed the way we watch football games in my opinion. |

Re: Joe Jacoby: Hall of Fame semifinalist
Good old Joe Jacoby. He was great. A great find by the Skins GM then. We could use a JJ today.

Re: Joe Jacoby: Hall of Fame semifinalist
We've actually had a good legacy of tackles: Joe Jacoby, Jim Lachey, Chris Samuels, Jon Jansen, and Trent Williams.

Re: Joe Jacoby: Hall of Fame semifinalist
Lachey is a guy that should get more pub. He was damn near impossible to beat in his prime.

Re: Joe Jacoby: Hall of Fame semifinalist
Jacoby was a wall as well as Lachey, they both belong in the HOF. The most impressive thing about Jacoby is that he was a FA and not a 1st round pick like Lachey.

Re: Joe Jacoby: Hall of Fame semifinalist
Absolutely, he was shut-down dominant. Didn't matter who he was going against.

Re: Joe Jacoby: Hall of Fame semifinalist
i think had Lachey started his career as a Redskin and played his entire career here, he would get in.But if I remember he only had 3-4 great seasons, then the injuries got him from 93 til his career ended. But IMO that 91 line was the best O-line ever assembled in the history of the NFL, and Lachey was the anchor.
