Aldrick Robinson
Where has this man been? Why isn't Mike Shanahan using him? After that first win against the Cowgirls, he hasn't made hardly no offensive impact because he hasn't received much if any playing time. I was under the impression Robinson was going to be to the Redskins what Victor Cruz is to the Gwomen.

Re: Aldrick Robinson
I wouldn't be surprised if he gets some looks on some deep shots in this game coming up.
As far as where he's been, I guess the four guys ahead of him have just been keeping him on the bench. |

If he catches three or more balls, Skins win.

Re: Aldrick Robinson
According to this, he's still running the same routes, but defenses are backing up to guard against his speed, opening up routes underneath.
Need to Know: One more reason to like RG3 - Rich Tandler's Real Redskins Here's the money quote from Kyle Shanahan: “He’s been out there. He’s been doing the same stuff he’s been doing all year, but you only throw them to him when the coverage dictates it. Sometimes when you get a guy uncovered 50 yards down the field, teams tend to back up. He’s still running those same routes and stuff. Guys are backing up a little bit more and it really helps out guys underneath. He’s done a good job in a bunch of these games really scaring a lot DBs [defensive backs] and getting them out of there. It opens up stuff for people underneath and when he doesn’t, you’ve got to be willing to let it go.”

Re: Aldrick Robinson
Part of the issue is protection too -- RGIII hasn't had quite enough time to uncork one of the long thows in recent weeks, in part because his injury has hobbled him and he's not able to create as much time for himself and because teams realizing he may not be running as much are applying more pressure up front.

Re: Aldrick Robinson
I think we're going to need him this week against their big slower corners. Kyle's is going to have to open up the passing game a little more this week.

Re: Aldrick Robinson
Just because their corners are big does not mean theyre slower. Browner and Sherman can both run very well. If anything we need to use their weight against them, double moves and such. Get their big bodies moving one way then breaking off a different direction. Sherman is very aggressive so we have to use that against him in the best way possible.

Re: Aldrick Robinson
They are an aggressive (overly so I believe) defense. We have plays built in to take advantage of that scheme, we just have to execute. I haven't seen one thing that makes me think we can't win this, but like every game leading up to this one, we can't afford multiple mistakes. Also, I don't see us getting multiple turnovers so it is on the offense to make the long drives necessary.

Re: Aldrick Robinson
We know how good RGIII handles pressure whether it is the regular season or playoffs. My question is, can Wilson be as cool as RGIII under pressure?
