Does anyone know whats up with Phillip Daniels?? He seemed to be a good pick up and an upgrade for us last season but he was plagued with injuries? Should we keep him or still try to upgrade at that posistion?

Re: De
It seems like the coaching staff thinks really highly of this guy, so I doubt we'll cut him.
Hopefully if he comes back 100%, he'll be effective. |

Re: De
I think we're done with FA. We have no cap room and will struggle to find a way to get Smoot under the cap if he decides to come back. Plus we have draft picks to sign so there will be no more FA pickups for us unless somehow they manage to manuever more money which doesn't look too likely or even possible.

Re: De
maybe a blocking TE since they can sit around nfl minimum and still prove effective... that's about it though.

Re: De
chris cooley could be the next alge crumpler if he practiced. he did a decent job last year, elevating himself to starting h-back. plus he caught like five touchdown catches.

Re: De
cooley is too slow to go deep... he has the hands, but his blocking and speed aren't exactly top notch.

Re: De
Chris Cooley has fine speed for a TE. He can get deep enough!

Re: De
Cooley doesn't have to get deep, he's great at the underneath stuff and that's all we need from him.

Re: De
Cooley has a defined role. Half-back. His numbers are great and this year I expect more. If there wasn't so many good TEs in the NFC this year, he would've made the Pro-Bowl. There could be obtacles with that though. I believe he was listed as a FB on the ballots.
