My first 2005 Moch draft 1st round

7 Minnesota (from Oakland) 5-11 Braylon Edwards WR Michigan
8 Arizona 6-10 Pac-Man Jones CB West Virginia
9 Carolina Trades 1 & 2nd to Washington Drafts Mike Williams WR USC

13 Kansas City moves up need for corner to great Carlos Rogers CB Auburn
14 Washington Troy Williamson WR South Carolina
15 Houston 7-9 Alex Barron, Florida State
16 New Orleans switch's with green bay for their 1st and second
Green Bay Drafts Thomas Davis S/OLB Georgia
17 Cincinnati 8-8 Travis Johnson, DT Florida State
18 Minnesota 8-8 Demarcus Ware OLB Troy
19 St. Louis 8-8 , Marcus Spears DE LSU
20 Dallas (from Bills) 9-7 Mark Clayton, WR Oklahoma
21 Jacksonville 9-7 Heath Miller TE Virginia
22 Baltimore 9-7 Chris Henry WR West Virginia
23 Seattle 9-7 Channing Crowder ILB Florida
24 New Orleans Odell Thurman ILB Georgia
25 Denver 10-6 David Pollack DE Georgia
26 N.Y. Jets 10-6 Kevin Everett TE Miami
27 Atlanta 11-5 Antaj Hawthorne DT Wisconsin
28 San Diego 12-4 Fred Gibson WR Georgia
29 Miami Brandon Browner CB Oregon State
30 Pittsburgh 15-1 Roddy White WR UAB
31 Philadelphia 13-3 Kevin Burnett OLB Tennessee
32 New England 14-2 Darryl Blackstock LB Virginia

Hate it or love it there it is. I think our need for a second round may cause us to drop even if Williams Falls in our lap. I know the Indi thing is a gamble but I had to give you guys something to talk about.

Holla back and give ur opinion

in this senario we get picks from both Carolina and Kansas City and get williamson at a better price than Williams at the 9

Not bad. Browns have William Green and Lee Suggs - I don't see them going RB. I thought the Bears were pretty happy with T. Jones too. Carolina has a #1 in Steve Smith, I doubt they go WR, I see them going after Barron. Saints have Aaron Brooks - doubt they'll get Aaron Rodgers. I also think SF will take Rogers.

Nice job though, just adding my speculation!

Browns will probably let William Green go if their offer to Ravens RB Chester Taylor goes through, but yeah I don't see them going RB in the draft

Carolina also has that rookie that played well last year, too.

Thanks everyone for the props

From living in New Orleans, I 've seen that the fans are fed up with brooks's stupid ass plays the only time he's been good is when he has competition waiting to take his job. The coach is on the hot seat and he can't put his job on the line with the inconsistent play of Brooks.

Browns may drop green and take Chester taylor like someone else stated earlier, so they may go defense with their pick or take Braylobn or mike that would switch alot around.

As for the James prediction they would still have a first, a high quality proven work horse in James and a third after that, why would that be dumb?

I'm saying Indy would be paying too much.

Miami get E James, a 1st & a 3rd for the 2 pick? I thought Polian was smarter than that.

My Only Problem With This The Fact That Our 2 Cb's Would Be 30 And 31
Respectivley And I Not Sold On Got Burned Jimoh And Wilds From Tech, Wilds Though Is Intriguing. This Is A Good Scenario If Both Top Rated Cb's Are Gone By Nine.

I can't imagine us passing on Mike Williams in order to get ANOTHER speed receiver. I like getting more picks, but I'd rather get a real stud.

Re: My first 2005 Moch draft 1st round

If There Was A Roy Williams Or A Reciever Like That Then I Would Say Take Him But There's Talent To Be Had In The Lower Rounds, If Our Line Is Good The Recievers We Have Are More Than Fast Enough To Find Openings, Either Take A Cb Or Trade Down . The Buzz You Keep Hearing About This Draft Is Thqat There Are No Clear Franchise Type Players Outside The 2 Qb's And Rb's.

Re: My first 2005 Moch draft 1st round

Well actually, I have heard buzz to the effect that the two WRs at the top are considered elite receivers, Edwards more so than Williams. They are probably considered more as franchise players than the 2 QBs.

Re: My first 2005 Moch draft 1st round

I LIKE THE SENARIO!
Give me a good player who with hard work can possible be a consumate pro...not a "super star or bust" type of guy, and end up getting a 2nd round pick and possible another pick (like in the 4th round for gardner) the Skins would have done well for themselves...

take a good player and the picks...not nessesarily a wr, but i don't make the decisions...come to think about it, who does?...I will save that for another thread on this message board.
