Flying During Game
I know this a long shot- but I thought I'd give it a try.
I'm flying out to the west coast today, and I will be in the air during the game. Is there any way to stream the game up in the air? I'm flying Southwest, and I'll probably have WI-FI, I'm just not sure how good it is. I tried the WI-FI a few years back and it was doo doo. I'd gladly pay for legit methods, but if there are any, "shadier", methods to do this I'd explore that as well. (feel free to PM me) Thank you in advance.

Re: Flying During Game
May have just answered my own question. Southwest partnered with DISH network and it is being offered by southwest which airs the NFL network live.
Southwest Airlines & DISH Partner to Provide Free Live TV on Flights With Wi-Fi Looks like my lucky day. We'll see if I can rig it up.

Re: Flying During Game
You might have better luck listening to it on Sirius.
I was on a train for most of the Bears game and trying to watch it was a mess. |

Re: Flying During Game
I've flown South West a few times since their partnership, and it's been great every time. I've had trouble with other streaming things, but flew over the summer and it was great.

Re: Flying During Game
I paid for the RedZone Channel on a Southwest flight on a Sunday last year, and it was fine (I was using my tablet). If you can get the NFL Network through them, you should be fine.

Re: Flying During Game
I've never tried out watching TV on a flight. I'll have to give it a go next time. All I know is on Amtrack the wi-fi is a joke.

Re: Flying During Game
if you get a streaming radio app, like iHeart Radio, or TuneIn Radio, you probably at least can listen to it, even if you don't have Sirius internet.

Re: Flying During Game
Just wanted to offer a quick update. Got the Redskins both flying to San Francisco, and coming home from San Diego.
Perfect picture, perfect quality. Was epic. Southwest way to represent (however I got hosed for $75 for having an overweight bag). I'm fixing to call and see if I can't work some a-hole magic.
