Agree. He'll be a stop-gap until either our younger safeties develop or we acquire another FS next season. He also knows the defense and can serve as a mentor to our young safeties.

I really didn't expect it to happen, and have mixed feelings about it. He'll be a serviceable option for a year or two anyway, and will be an excellent veteran presence for the young players.

I am good with this. Clearly intended as a stop gap. Even if he is not where he was last year, he is an improvement on what we had.

Never, ever, ever, should have let him go in the first place. I still hate you Vinny.

We would have had a decent safety opposite Sean Taylor, and more money we could have spent on other positions. Even if we still go BPA and draft Landry in 2007, Clark could still contribute.
