Giants Game Negatives
Everything. The end.
Other then this board I can't think of one positive reason to be a Redskins fan anymore. This franchise just plain blows.

Re: Giants Game Negatives
OL , QB and coverage . This team needs a RT , RG and either a S / SS that is a threat in coverage . I think we will be ok at corner . We should have a top 5 pick , so we should have our choice of Top Tackles and DB's .

The defense is atrocious, how does Haslett keep his job?

Cousins 4 INTS is why the defense looked so bad. I forgot about the 2 fumbles. Last edited by Gary84Clark; 09-26-2014 at 07:42 AM. |

The ints came after we got behind, because our defense cant stop anyone but the jags, even if we had the broncos offense. Cousins played great against Philthy, we lost because the d gave up more than 30. Cousins played bad against NJGiants, we lost because the d gave up more than 30. |

He had four downs to gain 10 yards with two minutes to go to get us into FG range. He blew it and threw as poorly as he did in that two minute drill as he did last night. He even admitted his mental problem with the game in his press conference.

Nice graphics but Conventional football wisdom knows if you give the opposing team a short field it kills the defense. What Cousins did wasn't fair to a defense that was already effing up. Turnovers determine the outcome of most NFL games. I test my case in this argument. Cousins hair was on fire lady night. |

The defense stunk it up when cousins played well in Philthy, they stunk when cousins played poorly at fedex. Your attempt to blame cousins for The d last night is weak and PATHETIC. I am not surprised you dont understand the funny pic i posted, either. |

Re: Giants Game Negatives
Cousins pretty much doomed the young secondary and the defense. If your QB throws 4 INTs, your defense will not look good. Giving the opposing offenses good filed position and leaving your defense with no rest. We need to figure out how to stop the seam route. We need to get Moses coached up. We need to teach Cousins some intestinal fortitude (can you teach that?). RG3 would have taken the punishment and taken the responsibility on his self. RG3 does no throw passes up for grabs because he is under pressure. I noticed in the Eagles game when Cousins got hit or sacked. He looked terrified, he had the look of horror. RG3 took a lot of hits but that is better than throwing picks.

Re: Giants Game Negatives
I, as many skins fans, simply want a winning team, and not merely for a 7 game stretch at the end of a season. I too was drinking the Kool-Aid when RGIII was drafted because the hype was so high, but I don't think we can make excuses for why he hasn't progressed the way he should have by now. Perhaps the reason why he ran the offense he did in college is because that is all he is capable of doing. He is limited because he just doesn't have the ability to do the tangibles that all the greats do. If you really look close, and forget the hype for a minute or two, it becomes quite clear that RGIII is another great example of an amazing college quarterback without the ability to truly transition into the NFL. Watch his feet in the pocket, and see how he misses his reads. I don't think he wants to have happy feet, it just comes second nature to him and it is his only way of protecting himself as a result of his inability to read defenses and get the ball out fast. His 1st year, in my opinion, was a fluke due to the offensive scheme being tailored around him and having the most underrated running back in the NFL in Alfred Morris tote the ball. Heck, Kirk came in and won a game on the road, true it was against Cleveland, but he did it. And we can't forget that he came in, under pressure, and finished the job against Baltimore. I am not saying Kirk is where he needs to be yet, but let's try to forget, for one second that he was just a 4th round pick and didn't win a Heisman, and take a look at the fundamentals he possesses. If we do that, I don't know how we can't come to the conclusion that Kirk has a much higher ceiling in this league. A running quarterback without the ability to stay healthy, as well as the inability to make the reads and get the ball out on time, lacking to maximize the players ability around him, is not going to make it in this league. I truly hope RGIII, if he gets the opportunity again, proves me wrong, but I just don't see it happening for the long term.
